Volunteer
At Just Neighbors volunteers primarily assist the organization and the families it serves through their partner congregation or community group. Just Neighbors professional staff members provide ongoing training and support to Just Neighbors Volunteers. Volunteers provide both practical support and compassionate hospitality for our guest families.
Individuals can help in several ways. For instance, families can purchase items on our Wish List. If you have an idea for a project or a skill to offer, please contact us.
Volunteer Coordination
Each Network congregation or organization has a Volunteer Coordinator who oversees the hospitality program within their congregation or organization. This includes planning menus and the recruitment of support volunteers.
If you would like more information on becoming a Volunteer or Volunteer Coordinator, please contact us.
Volunteer Coordinator Guidelines
The Just Neighbors Volunteer Coordinator(s) serves as the person(s) who coordinates the volunteers and activities provided to Just Neighbors by their church or group. This person(s) will be the primary contact for volunteers and the staff of Just Neighbors.
